The Cisco AS5850 24-Port E1/T1 Termination Card is a Channelized E1/T1 trunk card that provides physical termination for up to 24 E1 R2s, PRIs, or IMTs [add the caption] The Cisco AS5850 Universal Gateway using four 24-port interface cards can fully terminate up to 86 E1 trunks or 96 T1 trunks. Any of the E1/T1 interface ports on these trunk cards can be configured independently of any other interface. Therefore, users can software configure a variety of E1 trunks and ISDN PRI trunks (each connected to a different switch type), all within the same Cisco AS5850 platform.
